Family walk to reach the castle (accessible by stroller).

Proudly sited on its rocky outcrop, Essalois Castle is within the area of Loire Gorges natural heritage site. From one of towers or from the courtyard of the castle, there is a magnificient 360 ° panoramic view over the gorges and the plain of Forez. Different footpaths and a local GR path enable you to explore this remarquable area of interest.
