Owned during the Middle Ages by important families, the château underwent a certain amount of conversion between the 15th and 18th centuries. It comprises one of the few remaining examples of medieval architecture in the immediate area of Saint-Etienne which is open to the public. There, you will find towers, curtains, hourds and machicolations…
Inside, there is a reception room, a dining room, a winter room, a summer room, a chapel, a bakery, kitchens and major collections of earthenware and ceramics (from the 12th to the 19th century).
