In the heart of the Monts du Forez, in a Massif Central mountain range running between the Dore Valley and the Forez Plain, discover “Les Bassines” in a natural haven. You’ll succumb to the charm of this gîte’s peaceful setting.

The cottage is ideally located between two municipalities. Sauvain, a village famous for its fourme and Chalmazel known for its winter sports resort, its castle and its outdoor activities (rock climbing, via ferrata ...). This old renovated farm from the 19th century has a magnificent 5000m² tree-filled and flowered garden with views of the surrounding countryside and mountains. You will benefit from a corner of freshness with the tarpaulin from the farm which has been preserved and which flows all year round thanks to its spring water. Young and old alike can have fun around the zip line that the owners have installed on the beautiful lime tree. On the adventure side, you can reach the ski resort in 20 minutes by taking a path that crosses the forest where you may meet hares, roe deer and wild boars, chills guaranteed.

140m² gîte on two floors. On the ground floor, you will have a beautiful living room of 54 m² with fitted and integrated kitchen, its dining area and its relaxation area around the wood stove to spend a convivial holiday with family or friends. Upstairs, you will find two shower rooms and 4 bedrooms with 2 double beds and 4 single beds. In addition, in a sleeping area, you will find two single beds and a convertible Bz. For your comfort, the charges are included in the rental price.
