This route can be quite muddy in places.

Starting from Sainte-Agathe-en-Donzy, the route begins with a steep descent along the Belette botanical trail. After crossing the valley, an easy stretch leads to the village of Montchal. The descent continues to the Moulin Piquet stream. The second half of the route is more demanding, particularly from Fontbonne pond, where a steep climb leads to the outskirts of Violay. The final section is gentler, with plenty of downhill stretches and beautiful views over the Forez.
