A technically easy and enjoyable route along the river, though watch out for the challenging climb near the end.

Leaving Panissières, the route soon joins the former monorail track, following a gentle gradient to Moulin Ronzy. After crossing the bridge, turn right to follow the River Charpassonne. The return leg is more demanding: after crossing a wooded hill, the route passes close to Saint-Loup Chapel, the original settlement from which Panissières developed, visible on the promontory. The final climb back into town is fairly steep.
