This route features constant ups and downs from start to finish, which is part of its appeal. Near Mussy, take the time to explore “Les Pierres Folles”, a small jumble of granite boulders well known in the area.
Starting from Cottance, the trail follows a scenic section of the GRP® Terre Tisseurs en Forez along the River Charpassonne before climbing sharply into a beautiful cedar forest. A gentle ascent continues to the hamlet of Mézoncle before descending into the Chanasson valley. After crossing Mussy hill, the route passes through the municipality of Rozier-en-Donzy, then heads downhill towards the Charpassonne. A substantial climb awaits before the return to Cottanc
