The easy stretch along the banks of the Charpassonne is ideal for a family ride.

Perfect for warming up your legs with a few good climbs and descents. Starting in the centre of the flower-filled village of Salvizinet, with magnificent views over the Forez plain and mountains, the route heads downhill along a narrow tarmac road towards Montagny. The trail becomes grassy and descends to the River Charpassonne, which you cross via Montagny bridge. A left turn then takes you to La Valette along the easy-going Monorail trail. A final climb through the woods brings you back to the village.
