This route requires no particular technical skills and, although a little long, is perfectly suitable for a family ride. Be sure to try out the pump track in Mizérieux along the way.

The first part of the route follows the River Loire to Balbigny, passing ponds and sometimes running along the embankment. It then takes a pleasant, protected path to the outskirts of Nervieux. After passing the old washhouse, smooth, easy-going tracks lead to Mizérieux, followed shortly by a lovely descent into Cleppé.
